We have had a very busy month here at Silver Dragons not only have we had our normal gradings going on but 3 of our top Karate students (Meena, Max and Michael) have been training hard and taking their 1st Dan Black Belts Gradings.
Starting off with a gruelling practical grading where they had to pass a warm up and stretching fitness section, including 3 minutes of leg paddling without putting their feet down! they then had to perform all their techniques and Katas to a high black belt standard, finishing with tough bag work rounds and holding a low horse riding stance for a full 5 minutes! in the following weeks each had to teach a full lesson on their own.
After a tough few weeks we are so pleased to say they have all Passed! and we would like to welcome them into the Black belt club 🙂
A massive well done to Meena who passed at only 9 years old! making her one of our youngest black belts. Her flexibility, strength and confidence in teaching impresses us every week, we really look forward to see what this talented young lady can achieve
Congratulations to Max on his black belt, his confidence teaching others and dedicated training really impresses us. We think Max will have a great future and will become a great teacher too. well done Max!
and well done to Michael who through dedicated training managed to overcome his fears and push himself through what he thought he couldnt do. All that training was worth it 🙂 Michael can now join his friend Ben who he has been training with since they started when they was tiny kids, who passed his black belt a few months ago. Well done to Ben for an amazing performance on his grading.
A massive well done to all our new black belts, remember your training begins from here, you can achieve anything you put your heart and mind to.
Congratulations guys 🙂
