Kickboxing is an excellent sport! These classes really work you hard. The lively, enthusiastic instructors and the high energy training routines will really give you an adrenaline rush and a full body workout, be prepared to sweat! Kickboxing also relieves stress, kicks and punches do wonders for feelings of frustration and anger and leave you feeling good about yourself. Practising kickboxing can also help to improve balance, flexibility, coordination, endurance, stamina and it is also a great way of learning some simple self defence moves to give you added confidence.
Our lessons consist of a thorough warm up, circuit stamina training and a full body stretch you will then be taught how to correctly perform punches and kicks, pad work, body conditioning, protection, foot work and sparring (optional)
Gradings are available in our kickboxing classes they are optional but are highly recommended to give you a level of achievement and give you goals to help you improve. Achieving these goals are a great confidence booster and builds up your self esteem.
